How can I get to know my kitten/cat better???

Dear Viewers,

You can do a lot to get to know your cat. For one you can spend more time with it. If it doesn't like something you should make a mental note of that. If they like something or are uncomfortable when you do something, try to adapt to that. Accept them for who they are. If they don't want to be with others, give them their privacy. If they want to play, play with them. They are not only family, but best friends, and you have to accept them for who they are!

How can I get to know my dog???

Dear Viewers,

Many of you probably have a dog, or you have family members with dogs. If you see and dog and you want to pet it, you must first ask the owners. This is because the owners know their dog's personality and some dogs like to be around kids or like to be pet while others do not. If YOU have a dog, you need to know their personality. Does it like to be pet? Left alone? You should respect how they are because just like you they are living creatures. Most dogs do not want to be hugged or surrounded. This is because when you hug or surround a dog it feels trapped and can not free itself. Then they feel very insecure and try to get out so they bite, nip, or scratch. If this does happen, try not to do what you did to upset it and understand that it wasn't that it was a bad dog or anything, but it is like you staying in a small closet, you want to try to get out. right??? Well, it isn't the dog's fault and you just need to learn how to adjust to you dog a little more. Try to spend more time with them and care for them by doing what they like. Get to know your dog more because they become an addition to your family. Dogs are very cute, but you have to care for them, so a man is a dog's best friend. Be your dog's best friend...love them...care for them...accept them...be part of their family!

Dear Viewers,

We have created a video, however unfortunately it is unable to be viewed on this blog. So as an alternative we have come up with a couple of trivia questions to test your knowledge of pets. If you would like to view the blog please look at our School Presentation post, we do have access to bring it to the school presentations. Thank you for understanding and good luck with the trivia...

1. When holding a cat you:
a.support none of their body
b.support only the upper half of their body
c. support only the lower half of their body
d.support both parts of their body

The answer will be posted in about a week so please come back to see if you got the question correct! Thank You!
